A Lonely Walk

    Due to an underlying sorrow
I’ve lost the ability to control
  I’ve been keeping myself busy
      preventing the emotional flow
    I apologize for my absence
as I bury myself in a fantasy world
  it’s the only place I can find happiness
      when I’m slaughtering zombies on my own
    I promise to return to you soon
when the waters rise above my head
  eventually the damn will break
      and what wonderful poetry it will make
    until then I bid thee adieu
but know my thoughts are with you
